 THE JOURNEY A NINTENDO TRIBUTE BY SYNC What is this? The Journey is a remake of an old project of mines, which was essentially a huge IWBTG ripoff. However, i've recently been thinking it all over, and I got the perfect idea for not only it's revival, but a huge Nintendo tribute. You will traverse through many worlds as a... cube thing called Gyro, who ventures through the world of classic Nintendo games in search of a man who robbed him of all his possessions. It's resemblance to IWBTG is now very small, with only a few of the engine's elements seeming like it. Do you have anything to show of this besides it's story? Screenshots 1 2 Downloads Engine Preview How are you making this? Game Maker. Can I help? Yeah, actually. I'll be sure to ask for suggestions every now and then. It's pretty good for what it is, dude. I found the music to be a little dull though, but I'm not sure how much control you have over that. Good job in any case, keep me updated. |

I actually used to have much more lively music in the room, but I changed it because I was working on it late one night, and it was a bit too loud for me. I was too lazy to change it back, so I just left it like that. Either way, it's just the Beta room music. The real game will have more... "happy" music. (: And yeah, this is just a preview to showcase the engine, the level design isn't supposed to be interesting or anything. :P Edited by A_Bored_Game_Dev, Dec 31 2009, 04:37 PM.
