Ok I'm not usually a big fan of Metroid, but this game looks pretty awesome. I'm definitly buying it. Made by Team Ninja, must be awesome. I'd be happy if by some chance they rated it M and it had the same gore as Ninja Gaiden 2. I've seen that game play. It's intense. |

Seems cool, but I hope it's not RIDICULOUSLY difficult like the Ninja Gaiden games. I haven't played a Ninja Gaiden game, but supposedly they're maddeningly and frustratingly hard. Still, I'm sure it'll be a great game, difficult or not. |

Errm, yeah, Ninja Gaiden 2 was terribly hard. I tried it before on a friends' Xbox and I got owned by like the second mob of enemies. Blocking works...only for so long.*shudders* |

Ninja Gaiden is extremely sophisticated and loads of fun, although it does tend to get rather repetitive. I'm looking forward to this, I haven't been disappointed with a Metroid or Ninja Gaiden game thus far. |

While the Ninja Gaiden series is a bit difficult, I don't think it'd be a mistake to make this one difficult. The other games in the Metroid series vary in difficulty, but, overall, they aren't the hardest games out there. (Except for MP2. Wtf.) I want some kind of multiplayer, though. |

Really excited for this game. Certainly Nintendo's best announcement at E3. Some of my friends were sceptical about how this game will play out, but I think this risk of changing the way how Metroid plays will pay off. I think it's good that Samus speaks now as well, actual proper dialogue, not grunts or groans or text speech. I can understand some people's worries about it, but I don't think she'll be too talkative. |

I was blown away by the E3 video for this game. The only thing that destroyed it was the 2010 release date. I wish you could pre-order this game right now, b/c I would. The graphics for this look just as good as Corruption. I don't think the overall control style will change much, and I hope the game is really challenging. For me, this looks like a must-have game for 2010. It's going to be a long wait... Oh well at least "The Conduit" will keep me busy. |

I have heard some people worry that there will be too much story. I don't understand that AT ALL!!! People always complain about the lack of "core" games on the Wii, and now they come out with this completely awesome, story-driven Metroid, and some are complaining. I just don't get it. It's just like Madworld and House of the Dead. These are the exact games people are clamoring for but then they don't buy them! |

Most of the guys at Team Ninja that worked on Ninja Gaiden have left, so I wouldn't expect a Ninja Gaiden-like experience with Other M at all. Especially since Nintendo will keep a close watch over it. I doubt the company introducing "Demo Play" would allow a game to go into Ninja Gaiden 2 difficulty. As for me, I'm still waiting for a 2D Metroid Fusion sequel. ;_; |
