This thread will help you get into the Chat Room. -Chatzilla- For you (awesome) Firefox Users, Chatzilla is the Add-on for you! Here's how to get into the chat using Chatzilla: Spoiler: click to toggle --Download Chatzilla from the Firefox Website here --Install the Add-on and Restart Firefox --Go to Tools then Chatzilla --In the command line, type in: Code: `/server irc.freenode.net` --A new Tab will open up --In the command line in the new tab type: Code: `/join ##nforums` -Pidgin Access- If you use the great program Pidgin, you can access the IRC easily! Here's what to do: Spoiler: click to toggle --Open up Pidgin (available for freehere!) --Go to Accounts and then Manage Accounts --Select "Add..." --Change "Protocol" to "IRC" --Edit the Username Field --Make sure that the Server is irc.freenode.net --Click "Add" --Now go back to the main Pidgin Window --Go to Buddies then "Join a Chat..." --In the "Channel" field, type: Code: `##nforums` --NF doesn't have a password --Click "Join" and begin chatting! -Web-Based Chatroom- If you don't want to download a program/add-on or want to access NF just through a browser or on the go (Mibbit works on mobile platforms as far as I'm concerned...), here's what to do: --Go to this Website --Type in your Username (it doesn't have to be your NF username) --Join! If this guide isn't enough, here's a Wikipedia page on some great and useful commands you might want, it's located here!
