I will add new ranks once a member discovers them. All ranks here are from Nintendo games. Each time you rank up, the color of your username will change. You will also get more powers for each rank-up, such as the ability to upload larger files, hold more PM's, and more. __________________________________________________________________ Rank: Kokiri Color: Black Required Posts: 0 Description: A human-like race that live in the forest in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. While the Kokiri live in the forest they never grow up, and they're scared to leave the forest because they will begin to age and eventually die. Max PMs: 30 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Goomba Color: Chocolate Required Post: 34 Description: The first enemy to appear in a Mario game. Goombas are shaped like a mushroom, and most of them are part of Bowser's army. Not all Goombas are 'evil' (in the Paper Mario series, some aren't), but most are. Max PMs: 45 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Koopa Color: Dodger Blue Required Posts: 69 Description: Koopas are turtle-like creatures that inhabit the Mushroom Kingdom in the Super Mario Bros. series. Like Goombas, not all Koopas work for Bowser; some are friendly faces, as seen in Paper Mario games. Max PMs: 60 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Moblin Color: Crimson Required Posts: 101 Description: Moblins are pig-like enemies in the Legend of Zelda series that often reside in forests. They most commonly carry spears, but they may carry swords and clubs as well. Max PMs: 100 New Ability: Can access a new private chat. New Ability: Can have a custom member title. New Ability: Can post in the advertising board. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Octorok Color: Dark Cyan Required Posts: 184 Description: Octoroks were mainly land creatures in the Legend of Zelda series before Ocarina of Time came out; after then, they became sea creatures. They spit rocks out of their mouth, which is their only method of self-defense. Max PMs: 130 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Shy Guy Color: Gray Required Posts: 277 Description: Shy Guys are enemies in the Super Mario Bros. series, and can also be seen in most of Yoshi's games. They always wear a mask because they are too shy to show their faces. Max PMs: 155 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Paratroopa Color: Gold Required Posts: 424 Description: Paratroopas are essentially Koopas with wings. Other than this difference, they are identical to their wingless counterparts. Max PMs: 175 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Piranha Plant Color: Medium Violet Red Required Posts: 550 Description: Piranha Plants are enemies in the Super Mario Bros. series, and are impossible to jump on because of their sharp teeth. Piranha Plants represent Venus Fly Traps, and they appear in almost every Mario game. Max PMs: 200 New Ability: Can access a new private chat. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Banana Color: Dark Khaki Required Posts: 810 Description: Bananas (or Banana Peels) are items that can be used in the Mario Kart series to slow other racers down by making them slip. Bananas also serve as the Donkey Kong series counterpart to the Mario series' coins. Max PMs: 230 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Metroid Color: Light Blue Required Posts: 1000 Description: Metroids are the life-sucking creatures that can float through the air. When exposed to Phazon, they can mutate into powerful new forms. They are found in every game in the Metroid series. Max PMs: 275 New Ability: Can access a new private chat. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Bob-omb Color: Dark Magenta Required Posts: 1212 Description: Bob-ombs are enemies in the Super Mario Bros. series that, after setting themselves off, will explode after some time. They are (unsurprisingly) shaped like a bomb, but they have eyes and feet attached to them. Not all Bob-ombs are 'evil' though. Some may even help Mario and Co., as is seen in the Paper Mario series. Max PMs: 300 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Boo Color: Corn Flower Blue Required Posts: 1516 Description: Boos are ghostlike creatures in the Super Mario Bros. series. They turn invisible when you are looking directly at them, but when you turn away from them, they become visible and will try to sneak up on you. Max PMs: 330 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Chozo Color: Slate Gray Required Posts: 1750 Description: The Chozos are bird people with advanced technology and weapons. When Samus was alone on K-2L, the Chozos found her and raised her, infusing her with Chozo blood. They also gave her the Power Suit, which has become her standard attire for missions. The Chozos, unfortunately, were wiped out by Space Pirates and Phazon. Max PMs: 370 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Gerudo Color: Steel Blue Required Posts: 1983 Description: The Gerudo are the desert people of Hyrule in the Legend of Zelda series. All of them are female, save one who is born every 100 years. That male becomes the leader of the Gerudo race. They do not appear in every Legend of Zelda title. Max PMs: 400 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Zora Color: Medium Purple Required Posts: 2201 Description: Zora's are a race in Hyrule in the Legend of Zelda series. In the first Zelda games they were enemies, but after Ocarina of Time, they are mostly friendly, and you sometimes help them from time to time. They became extinct in Wind Waker, but some say they evolved into the Rito species. Max PMs: 420 New Ability: Can access a new private chat. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Stalfos Color: Olive Required Posts: 2487 Description: Stalfos are sword-wielding skeleton creatures in the Legend of Zelda series. They mostly appear in the scariest of places like the Forest, and the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time. In Twilight Princess, they will only be permanently defeated if, after being reduced to a pile of bones, they are hit by an explosive or a heavy, blunt object. Max PMs: 450 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Goron Color: Goldenrod Required Posts: 2693 Description: Gorons are another race in the Legend of Zelda series. They live on mountains; the mountain they reside in is usually called Death Mountain. They eat rocks to stay alive, and when they rest, they curl up into a ball that could be mistaken for a boulder. Max PMs: 475 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Ing Color: Midnight Blue Required Posts: 2950 Description: The Ing are dark creatures in the Metroid series, who have taken over half of the planet Aether. Samus must save the few remaining Luminoth by destroying the Ing and the alternate dimension they have created. Max PMs: 500 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Lakitu Color: Turquoise Required Posts: 3311 Description: Lakitus are a species in the Super Mario Bros. series. They fly on a cloud most of the time and can throw Spinies (which they seem to have an infinite supply of) down on foes below. Not all are 'evil'; some are helpful, as seen in the Paper Mario series. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Chain Chomp Color: Green Required Posts: 3867 Description: A Chain Chomp is a giant metal-looking ball that is attached to an object (usually a stake in the ground). They have very sharp teeth and they bark like a dog. In some Mario games, they are impossible to defeat. Max PMs: 560 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Ninji Color: Royal Blue Required Posts: 4326 Description: Ninjis are black monsters that appear in Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES. They have pointy ears and sharp teeth. Some just jump up and down, while others can actually attack you. Max PMs: 580 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Rito Color: Tomato Required Posts : 4930 Description: Ritos are a race in the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. They are said to be the evolved form of the Zora race once Hyrule was flooded. They are similar to birds in that they are capable of flight and have beaks instead of human noses. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Diddy Color: Dark Red Required Posts: 5321 Description: First introduced in Donkey Kong Country, Diddy Kong is Donkey Kong's sidekick who helps him as he battles King K. Rool. He loves music and plays a mean electric guitar in Donkey Kong 64. Max PMs: 635 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Pikmin Color: Yellow Required Posts: 5699 Description: Plant-like creatures that Captain Olimar discovers on a planet in the Pikmin series for the Gamecube. They assist Olimar in gathering supplies and defeating enemies. Max PMs: 655 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Samus Color: Dark Orange Required Posts: 6203 Description: Samus Aran is a renowned bounty hunter and somewhat of a legend due to her past feats. She is the protagonist in the Metroid series. She has a weapon blaster on her right arm that can be customized in some Metroid games. She is also one of the first female protagonists in any video game series. Max PMs: 675 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Hammer Bro Color: Dark Slate Gray Required Posts: 6828 Description: Hammer Bros. are a creature in the Super Mario Bros. series. They are elite Koopas in Bowser's army, and are unsurprisingly far more powerful. Rather than using their shells as weapons, they throw hammers (which they never seem to run out of). Max PMs: 695 New Ability: Can access a new private chat. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Lizalfos Color: Yellow Green Required Posts: 7290 Description: Lizalfos are enemies in the Legend of Zelda series that can attack with both the swords they customarily wield and their tails. They can also catch unsuspecting foes by surprise by jumping in the air and attacking them from behind. Max PMs: 740 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Donkey Kong Color: Sienna Required Posts: 7982 Description: Donkey Kong is the main protagonist in the Donkey Kong series. He loves to eat bananas, and he has a fiendishly large stash of them near his home. In early Mario games he was a villain, although that has changed. Max PMs: 800 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Toad Color: Thistle Required Posts: 8597 Description: Small, numerous, and known for their mushroom-top heads, these are friendly creatures in the Mario series who serve Princess Peach and occasionally help Mario in his exploits. Max PMs: 930 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Yoshi Color: Lime Green Required Posts: 9433 Description: In Super Mario World, Mario met Yoshi for the first time. He can eat just about anything and turn it into an egg. He can then throw the egg to defeat an enemy. Yoshi's popularity has increased since his introduction, and today he even has his own series. Max PMs: 960 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Luminoth Color: Silver Required Posts: 10000 Description: The dying race of the Planet Aether in Metroid Prime 2. New Ability: Can upload files directly into posts for others to download. Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Falco Color: Navy Required Posts: 11080 Description: Falco is the ace pilot of the elite mercenary group known as Team Star Fox. He's somewhat brash and often bites off more than he can chew. He is a very swift runner and can pilot an Arwing with great skill, but he's a bit lacking in the stamina department. Max PMs: 1050 Pip: -------------------------- Rank: Captain Falcon Color: Geranium Lake Required Posts: 12031 Description: Captain Falcon (Full name is Captain Douglas Jay Falcon) is considered the poster child of the F-Zero franchise. He is described as an accomplished F-Zero pilot and renowned bounty hunter. It is rumored that he is called "Captain" because he was once an officer on the Internova Police Force. By the age of 36, Captain Falcon had built a reputation as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, one that has earned him many enemies. This constant danger forces him to live in a sanctuary on a chain of islands off the coast of Port Town, where he spends most of his time. His desire for solitude is such that even after winning a race, he takes his award and quickly dashes home. Can ban, delete topics and posts, edit any post, edit forum settings, etc. You must be a Super Moderator before you can become one. Also has infinite Nintendollars. -------------------------- Rank : Super Moderator Color : Blue Description : Enforces rules on the forums. Has the same powers as an Admin with the exeption of editing the forum settings. You must be a Sage before you can become one. -------------------------- Rank : Sage Color : Light Green Description : Normal members who obey the rules and are generally nice to other members will receive this rank as a reward. Writing longer, less spammy posts is a plus but it is not required. Has access to "The Cave", which is a special forum for high ranking members in which future additions for the forum are discussed.
