Dead Space isn't terrifying, it uses very cheap horror. You might as well just call it a cluster of jump scenes. The atmostphere was creepy though. Ravenholm would be intially scary and if you're young, or scare easy. But really...it wasn't scary. I'm going to say this again and again, but I thought FEAR was scary in the beginning for the most part. The famous ladder scene for those who haven't seen it. Again, a lot of the scary parts in FEAR are cheap horror, but that game just creeped me out. A rather unheard of game was Dementium: The Ward. It wasn't very scary or anything because, well it was on the DS, the rather weak graphics kinda killed it, but if you could somehow make that HD with surround sound, I think it'd be kind of creepy. |
